Waiting for my CD

So here I am. The mixing & mastering has been finalised, the artwork has all been prepared and emailed off, and I’m in that weird limbo as I wait for my new CD to be manufactured and shipped back to me. I should have it in my hot little hands after this weekend sometime, and let me tell you, it’s a bit like being a kid @ Christmas all over again. Last night I played some more songs from the album at my regular gig, with the band I’ll be using @ the launch, and it was very invigorating yet scary. Most of these tracks have never been played properly @ a gig before, but I’m digging it, and apparently so is the mob. Cousin Ronnie, the bass player, and I have been meeting up once a week to rehearse my stuff, and then presenting the songs live on a Thursday night along with drummer Fallon Williams. In a couple of weekends time we will all get together, along with Janette Geri who will sing backup vocals, to run through the whole set for my CD Launch.
